A Willits couple died in a vehicle crash on Aug. 30, according to the California Highway Patrol.The couple’s vehicle was found around 4 p.m. at the bottom of a 150-foot embankment. The vehicle had overturned and came to rest on its roof.The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as Phillip R. Colvard, 68, and Bernice D. Colvard, 57.The crash occurred near Mariposa Creek and Bear Canyon roads.
