This is a pledge of intent that allows Mendo Local Public Media — the nonprofit that publishes MendoLocal.News — to treat my donation as a local match for INN's NewsMatch campaign. On top of its $12,000 base match, Mendo Local Public Media has been selected for NewsMatch's Rural Partner Fund — up to $2,500 in additional matching funds from the MacArthur and Knight foundations. Because the two run together, the first $2,500 raised is matched twice. Matching applies to reader gifts given Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026, up to $1,000 per donor.
