Major roadwork continues throughout Mendocino County through Thursday, April 9, with emergency repairs and utility work affecting multiple routes. Motorists should expect delays on Highway 1 (particularly south of Elk and near Westport with up to 30-minute delays), Route 20, and U.S. 101. One-way traffic control and lane closures will be in effect at various times throughout the week, with most work occurring during daytime hours. Delays ranging from 5 to 30 minutes are anticipated depending on location.

Route 1 (60.2/62.2) – Utility work in Fort Bragg at various locations from the Noyo River Bridge 10-176 to Pudding Creek Road will begin on Monday, April 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1PA
Route 1 (62.3/62.8) – Utility work in Fort Bragg from the Pudding Creek Beach Access to Airport Road will occur on Friday, April 3. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1DA
Route 1 (75.9/76.2) – Emergency work south of Westport from the Blues Beach Trailhead to the Overlook will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C1TA

Route 1 (82.5/82.9) – Culvert work from north of Hillshore Drive to the Juan Creek Bridge 10-140 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1CB
Route 20 (1.1/1.3) – Utility work in Fort Bragg from Noyo Acres Drive to Veronica Lane will occur on Wednesday, April 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20DA
Route 20 (13.2/20) – Utility work at various locations from west of Three Chop Road to the James Creek Bridge 10-102 will begin on Monday, April 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C20UA
Route 20 (30/31.1) – Utility work in Willits west of the Broaddus Creek Bridge 10-104 will begin on Monday, April 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C20UA
Route 20 (33.1/33.2) – Culvert work in Willits from South Street to Walnut Street will continue. Westbound lane closures will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#P20DA
U.S. 101 (10.6/11) – Utility work in Hopland from the Feliz Creek Bridge 10-3 to First Street continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101JD
U.S. 101 (10.6/10.8) – Utility work in Hopland from the Feliz Creek Bridge 10-3 to Mountain House Road will begin on Monday, March 23. Southbound lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#P101IA
U.S. 101 (13.7/59.5) – Utility work at various locations from north of the Crawford Creek Bridge 10-168 to Route 162 continues with lane closures and minor slowdowns. U.S. 101 (41.3/43.7) – Road work from the Cal Fire Howard Forest Station to the U.S. 101/Route 20 Separation 10-0128L will begin on Tuesday, April 7. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101DA
U.S. 101 (50.8/51.5) – Construction work near Schow Road continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101GA
U.S. 101 (55.4/61.9) – Culvert work will occur at various locations from north of Big Trails Drive to north of the Irvine Lodge Rest Area on Friday, April 3. Lane closures will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101GA
U.S. 101 (72.1/72.7) – Emergency work north of Laytonville at Woodruff Drive continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#T101GA
U.S. 101 (86.5/87.5) – Emergency work south of Leggett continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#T101GA
Route 162 (7.9/8.4) – Bridge work at the Eel River Bridge 10-236 continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162HA
Route 162 (15.2/16.4) – Emergency work from Laytonville Dos Rios Road to Covelo Road will begin on Tuesday, April 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P162DA
