City of Ukiah Releases Revised Annexation Map
Workshop to be held August 30 at 5:30 p.m.
The City of Ukiah has unveiled a revised annexation proposal—dubbed the “Sapling” footprint—reflecting updated boundaries shaped by community feedback, technical analysis, and financial planning. The new draft adjusts the original 2025 proposal, with changes intended to better align city services, infrastructure, and long-term growth goals.
In the updated map, the original annexation area is shown in white, while the revised proposal appears in dark orange. City officials say the updated version incorporates stakeholder input and offers a more refined approach to future expansion. An interactive map is available to help residents determine whether specific properties fall within the proposed annexation area.
The city will host a workshop on annexation on Thursday, April 30th at 5:30 p.m. at the Ukiah Valley Conference Center.
