Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested After Fort Bragg Gas Station Holdup
Suspect taken into custody at Motel 6
A Nevada man was arrested Friday evening after police say he robbed a Fort Bragg gas station at gunpoint and was later found in a nearby motel room.
According to the Fort Bragg Police Department, officers were dispatched at about 6:19 p.m. on Dec. 20 to an armed robbery reported at the Sinclair Gas Station at 863 N. Main St.. Investigators said a man entered the business, displayed a firearm, and took approximately $200 in cash before fleeing.
Officers secured the scene and began an investigation, collecting physical evidence and reviewing surveillance video. An area search was conducted with assistance from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, California State Parks, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
During the investigation, officers learned the suspect—identified as Titan Greene—had rented a room for the night at Motel 6 in Fort Bragg. Police established a perimeter, contacted Greene by phone, and safely directed him to exit the room. He was taken into custody without incident.
A search of the motel room reportedly uncovered a loaded .22-caliber Ruger Wrangler revolver and additional items Greene was booked into the Mendocino County Jail on suspicion of robbery (Penal Code 211) and carrying a concealed firearm in public (Penal Code 25850).
