Wish I could have seen the bogus AI flyer. 😂 I didn't attend the meeting, but read the agenda and noted that some people who are complaining loudly would have benefited financially from the proposed contract for $680,000 . . . talk about self-interested!
This feels pretty overdramatic. It was a human error, they owned it, took the post down, and moved on. Mistakes happen, it’s really not that deep. Also, that marketing budget is very small for a city of this size. People on the committee spend their time trying to improve the town. Articles like this are written and shared by people who likely dont, but just want to make noise.
The misuse of AI is something every single one of us who has very serious concerns should push back on. We seem to be just wandering into this. I’m VERY concerned.
Absolutely flawless execution on our city's part. I personally told Isaac Whippy to NOT use AI. I told him it was completely tone deaf considering we live in a town of artists and designers. What did he go and do anyway? Yeah. Sounds like that nearly 200k dollars is a big money laundering scheme that somebody ought to investigate.
