On December 2, 2025, around 7:09 p.m., Fort Bragg police officers responded to a report of a hate crime in the 600 block of North Harold Street involving ~~a~~ three graffiti-covered pride flags that were placed on a car. The graffiti included “rude comments”.

Officers are also aware of photos and posts circulating on social media, but at this point they do not have any identified suspects.

Police are asking for the community’s help. If you or someone you know has any digital evidence — like doorbell-cam footage, surveillance video, or cellphone recordings — that could support the investigation, the department has set up a secure evidence-submission portal through Evidence.com.

They’re specifically looking for any video showing suspicious people or activity between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the following areas:
• the 500 and 600 blocks of N. Harold Street
• the 500 and 600 blocks of E. Fir Street
• the 500 block of N. Corry Street
• the 100 block of Brandon Way
• nearby alleys

You can submit footage through the portal anonymously if you prefer. A link and QR code are provided below.

The Fort Bragg Police Department emphasizes that it takes all reports of hate crimes seriously. If you or someone you know has been a victim, please report it.
