# Coyote Valley Tribe Opens Temporary Shelter

The [Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians announced on Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/CoyoteValleyTribe) that it has opened the Tribal Gymnasium, 415 Coyote Valley Blvd. in Redwood Valley, as a temporary shelter for individuals and families displaced by the Feliz Fire. According to [United Disaster Relief of Northern California](https://www.facebook.com/UnitedDisasterRelief), all other evacuation shelters are closed for the night.

The temporary evacuation point at the Disaster Resource Center, 650 Babcock Lane in Ukiah, closed at 8:30 p.m., according to United Disaster Relief of Northern California. The temporary evacuation point at the Mendocino County Office of Education also closed for the evening at 8 p.m.

Meanwhile, incident command reported that forward progress on the Feliz Fire had stopped at 841 acres, according to Watch Duty reporter Dan Husum. CAL FIRE said the fire is 5 percent contained.
